• WSD3 Named to Honor Roll

    Widefield School District 3 has been named to the College Board's 5th Annual AP District Honor Roll. District 3 is one of ten school districts in Colorado recognized for expanding access to Advanced Placement course work and improving the percentage of students earning scores of 3 of higher on AP exams.

  • The WideField of Dreams Continues...

    On Sunday, November 9, 2014, Makayla Shoup, a Junior at Widefield High School was crowned Miss Colorado Springs Outstanding Teen 2015. Makayla competed in Interview, Fitness, Talent, Onstage Question and Evening Gown to win her crown.  She will go on to represent Colorado Springs in the Miss Colorado Outstanding Teen pageant in June 2015. Congratulations on your win, Makayla!

  • Widefield of Dreams - Travis Dumas

    Travis Dumas is a seventh grader at Janitell Junior High. This young man was picked out of thousands of students in the region to receive an award for his volunteering efforts. Travis has been volunteering for the Special Olympics for the past four years.

  • Widefield of Dreams - Carl Burgess

    Talbott Elementary P.E. teacher and Mesa Ridge High track coach Carl Burgess is a Hall of Famer! Mr. Burgess was inducted into the Eastern Nazarene College “Athletics Hall of Fame” on October 17, 2014.
